I'm every Woman

by Cati, Lorraine, Marie & Fala

Some reflections from the group after the experience:
  • Its engaging for public to start with idea, small changes make a big difference
  • It is useful to narrow down to a specific area of the topic so public can engage with something that is understandable and tangible.
  • Consider the ripple on effect.….
  • Hashtag, social media, petition.
  • Example- badge with messages are a talking point to carry messages on.
  • Think of engaging different ages. People engage with information in different ways. Short bite size info, more detailed info…where to go for more information
  • Be positive/ attractive/ colourful
  • For street action drawing on the ground attracts attention. People can see things on different levels.
  • Recreating a space or and environment for meaningful experience. A group drew a room in a direct provision centre on the ground to people to enter and imagine. This experience of stepping into space and imagining is useful.
  • Giving time for public to be creative allows them to think and engage.
  • Find different access points and ways for people to engage.
  • Share information in a way that is interactive.
